For this leash I wove eight strands of cotton rope together to make sure that it is strong enough to take whatever pulling power your large to giant dog may have. The rope and weave combination allows for some nice shock absorption when your pooch pulls unexpectedly.

I hand dye all of my cotton. In the dying process the rope becomes a little stiff, after a couple uses it will soften up very nicely.

Natural stretching may occur, the fray around the end knot is for this purpose. Machine washer and dryer friendly, fading may occur after repeated washes. I recommend putting in a pillow case so the hardware does not damage your machines.

This leash does not have a handle, but it does have 2 knots as “stoppers”.
